In Yolvic we are specialists, with more more than 20 years of experience, in jute products, like the hessian and jute tapes.

Our looms are built with our own technology to manufacture of our own jute tapes. This allows us to be reference suppliers of kind of articles in Spain. Quality is one of our main premises, that is why always we used the best jute yarn of one and two ply for our products.

The Jute

Jute is a natural fiber, that has been used over the centuries all over the world. Time ago it was only used for cordages and ropes, but today with the manufacture processes improvements it is used in many ways, due to its advantages over synthetic products.

• Under stress jute extends only 0,5% to its stable form, thats is why it has a great dimensional stability.
• The jute fabrics have a high grip capacity when taking them, have a great capacity. For this reason, thay can be stacked high and wide without any risk of slippage.
• The ignition temperature of jute is 193° C. Jute is very stable even close to its ignition temperature, and furthermore, even at its intact physical properties guard it from undergoing possible distortion.
• Jute articles have a high sweating that allows products inside to breath, and avoid condensation.
• It is biodegradable. It does not cover the natural breathing of soils and earth.
• When burned, it emits the same type of smoke that wood, that is not toxic or dangerous at all.
• As it is 100% natural, it does not have adverse effects on human body or nature.
